North Star 

North Star Fund Services was founded by Simon Handley, a British citizen, domiciled in Luxembourg.

 

Mr Handley has a broad knowledge of the fund management business.  He is an experienced financial professional with over twenty years of proven track record in risk management.

 

Mr Handley started his career with Deutsche Bank, as a quantitative risk analyst.  Later he worked over four continents, for several institutions including Macquarie Bank, BNP Paribas and BNPP Fortis, holding senior managerial positions within the last two institutions. 

 

Mr Handley has been involved in risk management within the investment banking, asset management, securitisation, corporate and private banking areas.

 

Mr Handley has repeatedly proven his ability to exercise sound judgement. He is a strategic thinker, with strong leadership, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.

 

He has extensive experience of international financial markets, products and risk management methodologies, processes and regulation.
